Dear Reader,
I am delighted to announce that victory was witnessed tonight by all attendee's at our meeting to debate the location of our playground. Whilst we all ache for a playground, the resident's of Mountain View Estate, with my support communicated to Meath County Council Representatives that under no circumstances would it be acceptable to construct a playground on their thoroughly well maintained and cherished small grounds.
A clear message has been returned to the proposers. CHOOSE A BETTER SITE.
My suggestion of situation said playground in the new GAA grounds was supported by the general majority, including council representatives and I trust that this or a close alternative will now prevail, allowing Mountain View Residents to return to a situation of calm and certainty.
